Podhorecki Castle, also known as Koniecpolski Castle (Ukrainian: Підгорецький замок)—a palace with defensive features located in Podhorce, Ukraine. It was built in the first half of the 17th century for Hetman Stanisław Koniecpolski. The castle complex in Podhorce includes the palace, the Church of St. Joseph and the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, and the palace gardens, consisting of a terraced section, a landscape garden, and a formal garden, situated between the palace and the church. H. Poddębski (1890–1945)—an outstanding Warsaw photographer. From 1911, he was associated with the Polish Tourist Society, where he headed the photography studio for many years. In 1934, his archive contained over 6,000 glass negatives. In the 1930s, he photographed with a “Leica” 35mm camera. Starting in 1925, he ran a well-known photography studio at 25 Marszałkowska Street in Warsaw. His works were highly regarded at exhibitions both in Poland and abroad—he received numerous awards and honors.
