Adolf Kummer (b. 1881) ran a Plated Products Factory at 8 Rymarska Street in Warsaw. It was this factory that supplied plateware to, among others, the famous Adria restaurant in Warsaw. Certainly family connections meant that, thanks to Edmund Kummer (b. 1898), these products in time also appeared in Lodz.
Franz Nowak (1885-1973) was an Austrian painter, known mainly for his precise and detailed depictions of still life. His works often depict fruits, dishes and flowers, and due to their classical style and high quality of execution, they are prized by collectors and sold by renowned auction houses such as Christie's and Dorotheum.
