Treasury ticket of the Kosciuszko Insurrection 50 zloty 1794, series C and numbering 5-digit : 14579
Natural banknote, has one longitudinal fracture, under the bevel, as well as several horizontal fractures with paper rubbing in the margin, paper loss on both upper corners, in the lower part of the margin destroyed, at this point the banknote was pasted into the album (former method of fixing). A rare variant, appearing in a 1:8 ratio to the other pieces in a single sheet of this denomination, with a filigree in the paper in the form of a so-called coat of arms with the motif of a postman's trumpet in the center - the upper part of the main filigree of one of the Dutch handmade paper manufacturers.
Piece of acceptable presence. Visible on the bill are the letters B S and and a wavy line in the upper margin - both features of a chemical security mark. Dry seal well legible with a misspelling in the word "NON-PO(Ł)EGL" characteristic of this denomination, as well as well visible signatures of two commissioners J. Klek and J. Gaczkowski. On the reverse side of the bill, an interesting feature in the form of a defect in the surface staining of the paper, in the case of this piece in the form of light dots.
Not a bad piece, with many rarer features.
