A very nicely preserved piece with a denomination of 5 Austrian guilders (at the same time Holy Roman Empire) from 1800. - The so-called Bankozetli.
These banknotes were issued by Wiener Stadt - Banco since 1762 (although forms from 1759 are known), i.e. since the reigns of Maria Theresa and Franz I Lorraine.
The 1800 Bancozetle was an issue that was part of the monetary system of Galicia and Lodomeria - the Crown Country of the Habsburg Monarchy created from the lands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth seized during the First and Third Partitions. For this reason, they undoubtedly deserve the attention of Polish collectors.
Banknote with fresh, rustling paper with very nicely preserved dry seals.
Broken several times. Imperfections in the corners and edges without affecting, the overall pleasant reception.
Definitely recommended !
