About the author: Norbert Skupniewicz a.k.a. Norbertt (born 25.02.1937 Nakło n. Notecią) painter, draughtsman, educator, also graphic designer, poet and sailor. Graduated from the Painting and Graphics Department of the State Higher School of Fine Arts (PWSSP, then Academy of Fine Arts (ASP), now University of Arts in Poznań); graduated in 1970 in the painting atelier under Professor Zdzisław Kępiński, from 1974 lecturer at the academy, then its professor. He has exhibited since 1969 (Akumulatory Gallery in Poznań), numerous domestic and foreign exhibitions, works in numerous museum collections at home and abroad. Initially a respected creator of the trend of new figuration, in the 1970s he developed his own individual style. Numerous travels, active in sports and tourism, collector of Far Eastern art
