Biography
She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and later from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received her diploma with honors from K. Tomorowicz’s studio in 1958. She was a member of the Warsaw-based “Rekonesans” group, founded in 1963. She explored the relationship between color and light. She creates disciplined compositions consisting of condensed, uniform patches of color. The mathematical rigor of these works is softened by the delicacy of her color solutions. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
