An official replica of the 1925 “Polonia” 10 zlotych coin design, struck in 2006 by Mennica Polska S.A. to commemorate the 240th anniversary of the Polish Mint.
Designed by Antoni Madeyski, the coin features the profile of a woman wearing a clover wreath against a background of wheat ears. This image was later used on circulation coins of the Second Polish Republic in denominations of 2 zlote, 5 zlotych, and 10 zlotych.
The replica is made of gold-plated tombac. The limited edition consisted of 1,000 sets.
This piece has been graded by NGC at the highest possible grade, PF 70 ULTRA CAMEO.
