Zygmunt III Waza, Sixthsak 1623, Cracow - SIGIS - rare and very nice
Bust of the king facing right.
Variety with the coat of arms of Sas (Nikolai Danilovich - Great Treasurer of the Crown) without a shield dividing the obverse inscription at the bottom on the obverse.
A variant of the homagial crown (Pączkowski III.b) - stars on the fleurons (Pączkowski variant III), outer and inner pearl bails, one oval each between the central bails and three ovals between the outer ones (Pączkowski variant b).
Inscribed variant with the king's titula SIGIS III ... in the rim on the obverse and ... ARGE ... POL 1623 in the rim on the reverse.
State of preservation: 2+
Minor puck and minting imperfections, but a beautifully preserved coin. Beautiful detail. Intense luster and mint mirror. A rarer variety. A beautiful piece.
