Painting for me is a training ground of experience, discovering the new and unpredictable. For years I have been using the airbrush and learning about the possibilities offered by this tool. The means of expression that I have discovered I explore and explore. Initially, these were experiences with geometric painting, hooked on op-art. Series of works from this period include Relief Structures, Dynamics of the Square. At a later stage, I leaned towards three-dimensional forms, taken from reality, though still geometric. It is represented by the series: Reflection, Hovering. An important element of the works was light and the shadow cast by the solids. At the time, I was fascinated by the structure and immateriality of both factors, as well as their ability to optically define the type of matter. I developed the problem of light and shadow in my doctoral series Luminance, the protagonists of which became contemporary materials of no great value - crumpled papers and foils, which I made monumental through scale.
