About the author: Benedykt Kubista (27.03.1939 Mikołów - 12.07.2011 Mikołów?) applied graphic artist and poster designer. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Cracow, Department of Graphic Design in Katowice (later Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Katowice), graduated in 1965 in the studio of Tadeusz Grabowski. Worked with the Artistic and Graphic Publishing House (WAG), the National Publishing Agency (KAW) and the Silesia Publishing House. Participated in numerous exhibitions and poster competitions, including a participant in the Biennale of Polish Poster (BPP) in Katowice 1967, 1971, 1973, including 3rd prize of the 4th National Poster Biennale Katowice 1971 (May 1 poster). Author of numerous political, social, event posters.
