19th Century - Copper Cauldron in Neo-Mannerist Decoration

An object (probably utilitarian) richly decorated with embossed, very interesting ornamentation. In the center was placed in a fancy crowned shield (resembling an Italian shield) an eagle without a crown, supported by two griffins (with lion heads). In addition to them, the vessel featured another griffin and an animal that can be identified as a wolf - all surrounded by rich florals. The base of the cauldron was decorated with an image of a mascaron. Two small handles made of single strips of copper sheet were attached to the vessel with rivets. Visible dents, bends and minor losses.
