Michal Rejner is an artist of the young generation who expresses himself in diverse media and techniques, achieving an intensity of plastic expression. His work shows the need for experimentation, expression, the clash of abstract and figurative forms, a spontaneous painting gesture, which, however, is not accidental. He reduces suggestive images of human figures to condensed signs that become a visual exclamation point. Part of the creative attitude and project pursued by the artist is the desire to present works on all continents of the world. The artist chooses his media with precision and seeks their symbolic connotations with each successive realization. He practices oil and acrylic painting on diverse substrates, uses techniques taken from street art, and relies on contrasts between materials. He often uses non-standard sub-images such as plastic or raw wood. He finds artistic qualities in architectural plans or the cool surface of metal. He seeks aesthetic value in places not sanctioned by tradition. This is, certainly, one of the factors determining the consciousness of the creative workshop. His works have been exhibited in temporary exhibitions in galleries in Chicago, New York, Colombia, Venice and Milan, among others. Michal Rejner is the winner of awards he received from Italian critic Vittorio Sgarbi or New York curator John Cloud Kaiser.
