Born 1963 Graduate of the High School of Fine Arts in Lodz.
Studied at the Wł. Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, at the Faculty of Textiles. Diploma in 1989 in the Studio of Unique Knitwear.
Artistic activity - landscape painting.
" In silence and concentration I discover the world that exists - a world that leads me into yet another - the world of painting. This nature around can be absorbed by handfuls, but often the creation of a painting is determined by this brief moment, of which I like the most the one that comes on its own, without special effort for it. The charm of small towns, the motif found among fields and meadows, Mediterranean themes create an inexhaustible wealth of moods and atmospheres, so in order to tell about a certain place - sometimes it is necessary to show a vast landscape, and sometimes barely a slice of nature is enough. The choice of observation point is extremely important for me - because it decides the entire composition of the picture, perspective and plan. And when the decision is made - I focus all my attention on the play of light and colors. After all, color remains for me the main means of painterly storytelling, it has the greatest influence on the mood and atmosphere of my works."
