Barbara Porczynska (b. 1982), Cocoon, 2018

Graduate of the State Higher Vocational College in Przemyśl, majoring in Polish philology, and of the Faculty of Art at the University of Rzeszow. She received her diploma with distinction in 2011 in the painting studio of Prof. Stanisław Białogłowicz. Twice a scholarship holder of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. Author of 17 solo exhibitions and participant of more than seventy collective exhibitions at home and abroad, as well as international plein-air events. Winner of many competitions, including the Honorable Mention of the Jury of the International Triennial of Paintings of the Carpathian Region "Silver Quadrilateral" 2012, Special Prize of the Museum of Art in Miskolc, 1st place Artist Event "Belle Époque" Bad Gastein Austria 2012. Member of ZPAP and Editor-in-Chief of the Rzeszow District ZPAP Newsletter "Art and Life".
