Bruno Cantais is a spontaneous and prolific artist from Lyon, France, who uses a variety of techniques, from the abstract expressionism of Rauchenberg and De Kooning, to the material projections of Georges Mathieu, pop-art collage or the expressionism of Karel Appel, on the edge between abstract and graphic work. But his distinctive style remains that type of textural painting that reflects the artist's inner monologue.
