Franciszek Klejne (1922-1995) - a forgotten Warsaw painter who worked mainly in watercolor technique, and whose subject of interest was well-known Polish landscapes. He graduated from the Hipolit Wawelberg and Stanislaw Rotwand State School of Machine Building and Electrical Engineering. After the outbreak of war, Franciszek Klejne received a mobilization card and in search of his unit wandered all the way to France, where Władysław Sikorski was forming the Polish armed forces. Then with the general's army he was evacuated to Great Britain. He arrived in Poland in 1947.He took part in numerous individual and group exhibitions and belonged to the Warsaw Association of Visual Artists.
