Studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lodz (now the Academy of Fine Arts). He received his diploma in unique textiles and painting in 1981. Since then he has participated in all community exhibitions. He has repeatedly presented his work at individual and group exhibitions at home and abroad, including in Rzeszow, Tarnow, Poznan, Nowy Sacz, Kalisz, Sieradz, Bielsko-Biala, Radom, Warsaw, Lodz, Torun, Belchatow, Kostroma, Esslingen, Girona, Rivne, Prague. He has participated in many plein-air paintings and post-plein-air exhibitions. He is the recipient of many awards and prizes. He actively participates in the cultural life of the city and the environment. In 2006, on the occasion of the jubilee of 25 years of creative work, he was awarded the "Bronze Medal for Merits to the City of Piotrkow Trybunalski".
