Biography
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. In 2002, he received his diploma in painting under the supervision of Prof. Maciej Świeszewski. He works in painting, linocut, collage, and illustration. He also works in painting, linocut, mural painting, and sgraffito. He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad; his works have been exhibited at many prestigious institutions, including the State Art Gallery in Sopot, the Gdańsk City Gallery, the Polish Cultural Center in Vilnius, and the Polish Institute in Budapest, as well as at the European Parliament, the Baltic Sea Cultural Center in Gdańsk, and the Królikarnia Palace in Warsaw. Winner of the “Painting of the Year” competition organized by the monthly magazine *Art & Business* (2001, 2002). The National Museum in Gdańsk and the State Art Gallery in Sopot have acquired paintings by Wojciech Koniuszek for their collections.
