Biography
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2003, she received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture (along with Jan Smaga). She has participated in many major international exhibitions, such as the Berlin Biennale (2006) and La Triennale in Paris (2012), and has also exhibited at, among others, the New Museum and the Sculpture Center in New York, the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, the Folkwang Museum in Essen, and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Her solo exhibition at the Zachęta in Warsaw earned her the Polityka Passport Award (2014). Her works are found not only in numerous private collections but also in prestigious museum collections, including the Salomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Fotomuseum Winterthur, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, and the Museum of Art in Łódź.
