Biography
From 2000 to 2005, she studied at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Białystok University of Technology—she received her diploma with an honor from the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. She experiences her creative process as an intimate depiction of her own reality—of what surrounds her, occupies her, and captures her attention at a given moment in life. At present, this is primarily the landscape of the Narew National Park, near which she lives. The artist observes the animals and birds around her and then places them against an abstract background. The result is realistically rendered creatures set against an emotional, colorful backdrop. It is a synthesis of a realistic perception of nature and the artist’s subjective emotionality.
The painter held a solo exhibition of her paintings in Hajnówka (1999), “Freedom in Color” at Pragaleria, Warsaw (2017), and the group exhibition “Winter” at Marchand, Białystok (2017).
