Krzysztof Klimek (Krakow 1962, lives in Krakow) - studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the studio of Jerzy Nowosielski (1982-1988). From 1988, for four years with Łukasz Guzek and Cezary Woźniak, he ran the QQ gallery. In 1993, in collaboration with Jaroslaw Suchan, he prepared the famous exhibition Coordinates 19 57.6 E + 50 3.9 N. Since 2002, an active member of the Otwarta Pracownia Art Association. Scholarship holder of the Pro Helvetia Foundation (1994-1995), winner of a creative scholarship from the City of Krakow (2019) and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2020). In 2021, he received a doctorate in art from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
