Ksawery Sajdak (born November 11, 2000 in Katowice, Poland) is a graduate of graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, where he received a diploma in intaglio printing and painting with a grade of distinction. He lives and works in Katowice.
Initially, he focused on realism and classical technique, using them in self-reflective works. Currently, he strives for freedom and synthesis, creating art in which complexity of content coexists with simplified, sometimes naive form. He works mainly with classical, material techniques, although digital tools remain an integral part of his process. The symbolism of his works stems from an intuitive process and subconscious associations, rather than from a conscious construction of meanings, avoiding verbalizing his work.
Finalist in this year's 15th edition of the Geppert Competition
