Jan Kazimierz Kauzik (born February 8, 1860, died September 18, 1930) - Polish painter and pedagogue. He studied at the Warsaw Drawing Class of 1875-1881 under Wojciech Gerson and Aleksander Kaminski. He received a cash prize and a scholarship from the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1882-1885 he studied under Alexander Wagner at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. After returning to Warsaw, he became a professor at the Drawing Class. From 1903 he also taught painting courses at the Museum of Industry and Agriculture. In his work he was conservative, not influenced by new directions in art. He painted genre scenes, landscapes, portraits and paintings of religious content. Between 1883 and 1909 he exhibited his works at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Society for the Friends of Fine Arts in Cracow.
