Świderski’s studio. From 1981 to 1989, he worked as an assistant at his alma mater. He practices painting, printmaking, and drawing. He is the recipient of awards and honors, including at the Mulhouse Print Biennial (1984), the International Miniature Exhibition in Toronto (1986), Graphica Atlantica in Reykjavik (1987), the Vaasa Print Biennial (1987), the Grand Prix at the Seoul Print Biennial (1988), and the I. Trybowski Award at the International Print Triennial in Kraków (1994). In 2001, he was awarded the W. Wojtkiewicz Prize by the Kraków chapter of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP) for the most interesting solo exhibition presented in Kraków. As one of the few Kraków artists, he has been helping to shape the neo-expressionist movement in Poland since the 1980s. He paints in a characteristically simplified style, sharply defining colors and shapes, often exaggerating them to the point of caricaturing figures and situations.
