Part one is the period from 1918 to 1920. It was decided to base itself on the "Outline of the Regiment's War History" compiled by Lt. Col. Witold Czaykowski, published by GISZ in 1928, supplemented by accounts of the regiment's soldiers from that period. The second part is the terms from 1921 until the outbreak of World War II in September 1939, that is, the peacetime period. The first booklet of this part was prepared by Rtm. Tadeusz Ploski, the final study was done by Major Jerzy Struzynski. Part three of the regiment's history consists of three chapters: The 1939 September Campaign, the Regiment's March and Reserve Squadrons, and the Home Army Detachments named after the 14th Jazlowiecki Ulan Regiment (...). Part four is the history of the reconstituted regiment in the West. The last chapter of part four is "Memories, traditions and regimental memorabilia" (...)
