Oil, cardboard, 43.5 x 65.5 cm, signed p.d.: St. Kamocki.
"Kamocki was Stanislawski's most outstanding student, close to him through his love of nature, sensitivity of observation and emotional attitude to the landscape of the Polish countryside. Cereal fields, potato fields, haystacks, trees, manor houses, country churches, viewed in different seasons, are the main subjects of his paintings (...). He searched for these subjects while wandering through the sunken villages of Podolia, Volhynia, Spisz, Orava, and especially the lands of Podkraka and Podhale. He usually painted these paintings, often in large sizes, outdoors." Lit.: SAP, vol. III, p. 336.
