Dimensions: 38 x 54 cm, together with frame: 47 x 62.5 cm.
The painting is slightly yellowed and soiled. It requires washing by a conservator, then its palette will brighten up a lot.
Stefan Rostworowski was born in 1921 in Kolczyn, and died in 2000 in Krakow. He studied at the Cracow School of Art Industry, while after World War II he continued his education at the Faculty of Painting at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts, where he was immediately admitted to the second year of study. He studied in the studios of Ignacy Pienkowski and Eugeniusz Eibisch, among others.
The object will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
A 20% Auction Fee will be added to the auctioned price.
