Biography
Polish musician, painter, and sculptor. He spent his childhood and youth in Zakopane and later settled in Kraków. He studied cello at the State Higher School of Music in Kraków, and subsequently in Rome and Siena. From 1964 onward, he performed with the “Krakow Trio,” with which he gave concerts in Poland and abroad, winning numerous awards. In 1965, he began his artistic career in the visual arts, initially creating paintings on glass, and from the late 1970s also sculptures and reliefs. His work, often centered on religious themes, has been featured in exhibitions in Poland and abroad. In 1992, he received the St. Brother Albert Award for outstanding achievements in the field of religious art.
