Stefan Pieniążek (Słup 1888 - 1958 Konstancin-Jeziorna) - studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow between 1909 and 1916 in the atelier of Jozef Pankiewicz, and at the same time attended lectures on philosophy, art history, archeology and philology at the Jagiellonian University. After receiving his diploma in 1919, he traveled to the Mediterranean countries, Greece and Turkey. He practiced oil and watercolor painting; he created figural compositions, architectural views, still lifes and landscapes. He was also a dedicated teacher. He exhibited his works, among others, at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in 1926-1936 and at the individual "Exhibition of Seascapes" in 1936-1938 ( in Karwi, Jastrzębia Góra and Muszyna).
