Born in 1963. Studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Obtained diploma with Rector's Medal in 1988. Recipient of scholarships from Silesia-Dabrowa Independent Culture Committee for artistic debut (1988); Ministry of Culture and Art (1989, 1999); The Pollock-Krasner Foundation (1994); Frans Masereel Center for International Graphics (1994, 1995, 1996, 1997). Winner of honorable mention of the Polish-Finnish Marine Competition, Gdansk (1987); 2nd Prize of the Polish-French Printemps Culturel du Valenciennois Poster Competition, Valenciennes, France (1988); honorable mention of the 4th World Exhibition of Miniature Art, Toronto, Canada (1989); Honorable Mention of the 1st International Triennial of Small Forms Graphic Art, Riga, Latvia (1990); Honorable Mention of the World Triennial of Small Forms Graphic Art, Chamalieres, France (1991); Regulation Prize of the 4th International Triennial of Graphic Art, Ourense Spain (1998); Third Prize of the 10th National Graphic Art Review. National Student Graphics Review, Cracow (1985); 2nd Prize of the 1st National Biennial of Graphics Facing Values, Katowice (1986); honorable mention of the 11th National Student Graphics Review, Cracow (1997); 2nd Prize of the 2nd National Biennial of Graphics Facing Values, Katowice (1988); honorable mention of the R. Author of about 100 solo exhibitions in leading Polish galleries and in Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Great Britain, France, Austria, USA.
