Podlodowska's paintings are built from small bricks, dots, lines and simple shapes, which are put together in the manner of ancient tapestries or tapestries. Intentionally devoid of space and chiaroscuro, they are meant to act as a decorative panel. In her paintings one can easily find inspiration from the Far East and oriental design, which is intertwined with elements of Polish folk art. (quoted by Portal NiezlaSztuka.net)
