Nowosielski's abstract paintings stand rather on the sidelines of his oeuvre,
but for collectors it is often an object of desire, as it comes to auctions relatively
he finds himself relatively rarely. Due to its decorative qualities and underlying
underlying philosophy or concept of the author, the abstractions are worth paying
more attention. For Nowosielski, even abstract paintings were icons, but not so much because of the form, but the intention itself,
the idea inscribed in the artwork. The artist creates in accordance with an inner impulse, not a mental calculation.
The painter's concept blurs the boundaries between the sacred and the profane, resulting in so-called secular icons.
Art thus enables contact with - as Nowosielski himself put it - "heavenly powers."
