Av. KAROLVSx DIx GR - FRANCORVx REX. The King, crowned, standing beneath a canopy flanked by lilies, wearing a coat of arms with fleurs-de-lis over his chain mail, holding the sword and the hand of Justice.
Reverse: + XPC* VINCIT* XPC* REGNAT* XPC* IMPERAT. A trefoil cross with an angled quatrefoil at the center, flanked by two lilies and two small crowns, within an angled quatrefoil flanked by lilies.

The strike is barely obscured on this specimen, which has seen little circulation, and it features a beautiful golden patina. Superb.
