Denomination introduced by the reform of January 11, 1924. The coin was minted to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the January Uprising pursuant to a regulation of the Minister of the Treasury dated October 30, 1933. The coin was minted only in November and December 1933. It remained in circulation until November 1939.
The coin was minted in Warsaw in a mintage of 300,000 pieces.
Obverse: the state eagle based on the 1927 design, with the inscription “RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 10 zlotych 10” along the rim; beneath the eagle’s talon, the coat of arms of Kościesze—the mark of the State Mint in Warsaw;
Reverse: a ¾-profile bust of Romuald Traugutt facing forward, with the legend “ROMUALD TRAUGUTT 1863–1933” along the rim; to the left of the bust are the initials of the designer, ZTK;
Edge: serrated
The coin is struck in .750 silver, with a diameter of 33 and a standard weight of 22 g;
