The collection of long-playing vinyl records comes from the collection of Pavel Chrastina, the founder of the legendary Czech rock band Olympic. Unlike previous rock and rock 'n' roll albums, this part of the collection covers a wide range of genres, including chanson, country, film music and domestic popular music.Among the important titles we can find albums by Johnny Cash, Jacques Brel, Gilbert Bécaud, but also Czech and Slovak performers such as Waldemar Matuška and Mireille Mathieu. The collection also contains thematic and orchestral albums, for example Love Story, music productions for film and recordings inspired by theater and poetry.
The collection shows the diverse musical taste of Pavel Chrastina, which extended far beyond the boundaries of the rock scene. An important set not only for collectors, but also for music historians and lovers of analog sound.
