Stefan Batory, Trojak 1583, Riga – rosettes
On the obverse, a smaller bust of the king.
The royal crown is decorated with rosettes.
The obverse is punctuated with dots.
Interesting fact—an inverted letter L in the title—a rarity.
Condition: 1-/2+
Minor flaws in the coin and minting, but a beautifully preserved piece. Beautiful detail. Luster and mint mirror finish. A rare and underappreciated variety featuring an inverted letter “L” in the king’s title. A beautiful coin.
