Krzysztof GRABARA (b. 1985), Spokój jest tu, 2025

In 2018, two years before his retirement, due to humiliation and dehumanization, he quit his job as a police officer to take up creating. He took up painting in February 2019.
He is a self-taught artist, charity activist, educator in painting techniques and art, but most of all, as he says of himself, he is a human being.
He is also a member of the Kwan Um Zen School in Poland.

In his work, he primarily seeks peace of mind and shares it through art as well as his life attitude.

Since 2022, he has lived in Ustroń documenting the beauty of the Silesian Beskid and captures his impressions on canvases, papers and prints of the "Umi no ue" series.

He works in a variety of techniques from watercolor, acrylic, oil, mixed techniques, as well as digital graphics based on his photography.

In 2023, he debuted at the Museum of Magic Realism in Wisla with the exhibition "7th Floor."
The highlight was a solo exhibition "This is your life and no one will live it for you" at the Regional Museum in Koscian in 2024, curated by Pawel Salacki.

In 2024 he won an honorable mention in a competition organized by the CCA "Signs of the Times" in Torun for his series "Umi no ue".
