1984, card, al., 50 × 80
Signed. AD: Tuleikis 84
Leonardas Tuleikis (1939 - 2014) is a lyrical, thoughtful and silent painter, whose work reveals a spiritual calm, a poetics of light and space. His paintings are characterised by a restrained palette, a subtle combination of tones and a philosophical mood. Often depicting landscapes, human figures or inner spaces, they become symbols of being, time and solitude. Tuleikis' paintings are a meditative way of seeing the world, in which what matters is not the external impression, but the inner light and sense of peace. As a painter, he remains a silent representative of modernism, combining the classical artistic tradition with the depth of spiritual reflection. The artist was a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Union, participated in national and international exhibitions, and his works are included in museum collections and private collections in Lithuania and abroad.
