He began his artistic education in his native Lviv, attending the Stanislaw Balowski School of Painting in 1911-1912, continued it in Cracow at the course of painting run by Teodor Axentowicz and at the Academy of Fine Arts, in the 1930s he became associated with Bydgoszcz, worked as a teacher, he was also the initiator and manager of the first School Museum in Bydgoszcz, after the outbreak of World War II he was exiled by the Soviet authorities to the east, he died in 1940 in Kazakhstan. Marian Faczynski's works are among great rarities.
