Jadwiga Umińska (1900-1983) painter, graphic artist, stage designer, member of the Second Kraków Group. Until World War II, she was associated with Warsaw, where she created paintings and drawings on Warsaw themes and a set of unique drawings documenting the Warsaw Uprising, made by the artist during the fighting. After the war, she was associated with Tadeusz Kantor's Cricot Theater (set and costume designs) and the Second Cracow Group. Work from the collection of the artist's family.
