Composition in yellow, red and blue, resembling swirls in the artist's typical Ben Day dot style. Series created for legendary photographer Bert Stern (shooter of such stars as Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Liza Minnelli and creator of many covers for VOGUE) for his visionary gallery-boutique called "On 1st" in New York. It was a kind of art store with objects by famous artists.
A highly collectible object. In the collections of many important institutions, i.e. the Tate Modern in London or the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
Inscribed in the artist's raisonné.
