Aleksandra Furdyna (b. 1996). A graduate of the Piotr Michałowski High School of Fine Arts in Rzeszów. From 2016 to 2021, she studied Graphic Arts at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Rzeszów. She received her degree in graphic arts in 2021 from the Studio of Printmaking—Relief Printing led by Prof. Łukasz Cywicki of the University of Rzeszów and the Studio of Graphic Design II led by Prof. Wiesław Grzegorczyk of the University of Rzeszów. She was nominated for the 13th edition of the Jerzy Panek Award for the Best Diploma Project at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Rzeszów.
She is interested in Japanese art and culture. She draws inspiration from the works of artists such as Hiroshige and Hokusai. She creates multicolored, detailed works in which she employs a rich palette of colors and tonal transitions. Her prints, under the guise of text illustrations, conceal a wealth of Japanese symbolism.
