Biography
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received her diploma in 1952. An outstanding master of printmaking and a long-time lecturer in printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Around 1956, a new trend emerged in Chrostowska’s work: a passion for formal and technical experimentation, which over time led her to blur the boundaries between printmaking and painting.
