She graduated in 1999, from the Department of Printmaking at the Art Institute of Kankaanpää, Finland, where she received her diploma in the lithography studio of Professor Anna Alapuro. She received her master's degree in 2001 from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow - in the copperplate studio of Prof. Stanislaw Wejman. She has presented her works at many individual and collective exhibitions at home and abroad. Her works are in private collections in Poland and abroad, such as in Denmark, Finland, Norway and the United Kingdom.
Anna Siek creates her works in both printmaking and painting or sculpting techniques. The themes of her work are nature, the world around us, seemingly ordinary phenomena; also personal experiences and emotions. The sculpture, "Fire," is a snapshot of a simple moment and at the same time a deep relationship that is building up. These relationships, seemingly trivial moments become links of relationships, connect us to the past and the future. An integral part of the sculpture is a beautiful Jurassic limestone, with which the author adds solemnity and, in a way, reaches back to the beginning - the first links.
