DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Landscapes by Ivan Trusz usually repeat the pattern of horizontal composition perfectly balanced by vertical lines of trees - the main characters of the artist's works. In the presented "Landscape with Trees" a pine tree battered by strong winds marks the center of the painting. Devoid of staffage, the view of sketchily painted nature allows one to sense the painter's contemplative attitude to nature. The immense poeticism contained in the small format of the painting makes the work strongly affect the viewer and allows to calm thoughts.
