Art Déco marble fireplace suit, France.
Fireplace suit in Art Déco style, made of brown and white marble, with insets of lighter and darker marble. Above the clock are figures of a pair of doves, on the sides are figures of hugging children. Also included are two saucers, with a stylized floral and geometric motif on the foot. Manufacturer's brand on the numeral (ROTT / Clichy). Very good condition, minimal losses/losses on a few corners of the clock bases and saucers, minor soiling, dial cover worn, top of the leg of one of the saucers slightly beaten (moves slightly). Mechanism untested.
