Pawel Wąsowski
The artist is an architect and painter. In 2008, he defended his doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he subsequently became an academic teacher. For his doctoral thesis he received a distinction from the Faculty Council of the Warsaw University of Technology and in 2009 an award from the Minister of Infrastructure. In his creative endeavors, he explores the correspondence between architecture and visual arts and the influence of architecture on painting and vice versa. Wąsowski's painting works are characterized by optical illusions, studies of issues in the perception of color and its impact on space.
