The Whiteblood Foundation is a collective comprised of industrialists, managers, artists, and thinkers. Its members bring significant experiences, studies, and skills, which have allowed them to develop diverse cultural and artistic sensitivities. They have come together to contribute their knowledge and artistic awareness to a common and shared project.
The WB collective has assimilated, generated, and approached various artistic inspirations, resulting in their own distinct line, especially in relation to the art market and its typical dynamics. It is well-known that, as Hirst said, "For my generation, these days, art and business go hand in hand." Therefore, the collective creates art exclusively on commission, aiming to enhance and physically involve the role of the observer and the client in their artistic work.
The Artwork:Dimensions: 60 cm x 60 cm x 120 cm (h)Material: Recycled carbon from Motorsport and military aviation, patchwork style, original design by Cracking ArtThe material used is recycled carbon from Porsche Motorsport and military aviation sources. The patchwork style of craftsmanship is evident in the carbon texture, with intersecting patterns of carbon of varying textures while maintaining a smooth surface to the touch. The surface is reflective and three-dimensional, which means that when placed in outdoor environments, it captures images and light, distorting the reflection at a slight angle, capturing it within its own silhouette. The production of penguins is limited to a series of 8 penguins, some of which have already been sold. The penguin being auctioned is number 5. Luigi is number 0 and not available for sale. The color of the carbon, as you know, is black, but a golden pigmentation process has been applied, similar to the one used by Pagani for their recent car productions. The design is by Cracking Art, famous for creating life-size animals with recycled plastic, even for outdoor settings. The penguin was chosen as a symbol of wealth and to emphasize the difference between D4S design objects, Durante Space Tech, and Cracking Art. The penguins produced are all entirely handmade and limited in series, making each one unique in various parameters:1. Intersection of the carbon weave2. Color of the craftsmanship3. Minuscule variations in size (custom sizes can be requested)
Regarding scalability, different dimensions can be achieved.
The artwork comes with its original packaging, a branded wooden box typically used for transporting artworks, with the hand-painted Whiteblood Foundation logo.
