This artwork belongs to the Whiteblood Foundation. https://www.instagram.com/whiteblood_foundation/https://whiteblood.org/It is a unique artwork, entirely handmade, expressing an art lived and collectively interpreted by the founders of WB. The artistic work is considered alive (and never eternal), while today, art is reduced to an object of entertainment and commercial exchange, squeezed and kept alive, unchanged, immutable, and untouchable through codes and rituals that annihilate the essence of art, which now languishes zombified in its multiple and infinite iterations and even digital representations. The concept of 'frangar non flectar' (I will break, but not bend) is strongly indicative of a condition inadequate to absorb the complex mechanisms of interaction and interference, typical of identity, not only artistic.
The Artwork
Dimensions: 80 cm x 60 cmMaterial: Original recycled carbon fiber from an F16 combat aircraft used in Iraq in 2008, produced until today. It was the first aircraft with invisible anti-reflective technology to radar, curvilinear and curved on the wall as if it "entered" the room. The carbon fiber matrix was separated from the epoxy resin. Carbon fiber consists of two materials, carbon fiber and the resin that supports it. In the process, the epoxy resin was separated from the carbon fiber, allowing the resin to harden irreversibly. The resin allows the carbon fiber to harden and become flexible and adaptable. When one wishes to recover the carbon fiber threads, a catalytic process is necessary to separate the matrix from the resin, thus recovering the carbon fabric fibers. From the recycled fibers of aerospace parts of aerospace quality, objects of the highest quality can still be built. However, the process is extremely expensive on an industrial scale. These projects started in 2007 by D4S in collaboration with Boeing and Airbus. In the case of carbon fiber artworks, the process is executed by hand, protected by industrial secrecy.THE ARTWORK: The painted part is submerged within the block of recycled carbon fiber matrix. Therefore, it is not just a painting but also a sculpture, as it is a three-dimensional object. In the lower right corner, the seal of the Whiteblood Foundation is present.
Meaning of the artworkEvery day is different in the generalized context of life, and each color represents a point of strength of one's personality, changing every day.
