Igor Talwinski (Warsaw 1907 - 1983 Paris) - Polish painter, active in France. He was mobilized in September 1939 and was taken prisoner by the Germans. After his liberation from the POW camp in 1945, he settled in Paris. There he learned the craft of painting. Beginning in 1951, he exhibited at the Paris Salon. He also presented his paintings at solo exhibitions in London and New York. He painted mainly portraits and nudes of young girls in a style similar to advertising graphics. He left numerous paintings scattered in private collections. Many of his paintings appear at painting auctions.
